The Flu's a Bitch
Pray you do not get the flu.
Poor Hannah Grace, my beautiful, vivacious and smart senior in high school has been so damned sick. 5 days in the bed with another week of recovery ahead of her.
Don't want none of that stuff.
My secretary's daughter had it as well and she was the exact same way. Pitiful.
So how is it that the flu shots that were given out this year had none of the flu that is going around in them?
Is this some kind of medical community consipracy?
Think about it. $115 for a doctors visit and they can't do anything for you except write you a script for some TamiFlu that will cost you $50 WITH INSURANCE. I have no idea what it would cost without it.
But it really doesn't work. By the time you're that sick and go to the doctor, the anti-viral medicine is too late because you've already got it.
I've got a friend that is an emergency room doc and he takes it twice a day and has for a month and he hasn't gotten it yet and he is swearing that he sees 40-50 people a day with it!
Worst year for the flu in decades and once again, Mississippi leads the nation in something stupid - death of children due to flu and complications.
Ain't we proud.
So hug your babies, get down on your knees and ask God to spare you and yours.

I hope Hannah feels better soon and nobody else in your house gets it. Well wishes to your beautiful girls and you too.
I had the flu in Knoxville. Seriously, I would rather be beaten with a bat than have the damn flu.
Every friend with little ones has had a sick household. Thank God the cats don't go to school!
